Compressport

Overview

For the launch of the Aero Speed Tape, Compressport asked us to create the images that would show what it does. These are ultra-aerodynamic adhesive strips applied to the shins and calves to reduce drag and save up to 8 watts, designed for triathletes racing Ironman and other long-distance events. We shot with Marjolaine Pierre, one of the best long-distance triathletes in the world, to put the product on a true champion.

Challenges & Approach

The challenge was to make aerodynamics visible. We shot in a wind tunnel, the one place where airflow, drag and performance gains can be seen and measured, to highlight how the tapes work on the legs. With controlled lighting and precise framing, we focused on the details of the product and on Marjolaine's position, so that the technology and the athlete both tell the story.

The result

The final images present the Aero Speed Tape as a simple, lightweight way to gain speed on the bike, backed by the credibility of an elite Ironman athlete and the setting of a wind tunnel. They were delivered for web and social media.
